Angry Orchard Stone Dry

by | Nov 25, 2015

With the recent acquisition of a 60-acre New York orchard boasting roots back to the 1700s—plus shelf and tap list placements at most cider-savvy locations–Angry Orchard likely rings a bell. You can find many of its innovative core ciders in countless stores and bars across the nation, but the cidery’s smaller batch hard ciders fall under the radar. The Legend of Strawman, The Legend of Iceman and The Legend of the Muse leave much to be desired, and are aged in oak barrels saluting techniques in Italy and France, proving that the well-known cidery is always going to be in the thick of it.

Angry Orchard Stone Dry was just released this fall, but can be added to your cider shelf year round. Much like that first apple of the season that you shine up on your shirttail, bright aromas prep the palate for bitter sweetness with each sip, transitioning to a dry yet balanced finale. A take on Traditional English cider and the driest cider of the Core Collection, Stone Dry happily complements your most succulent pot roast, glazed ham or turkey dinner.
